Synonymous with timeless elegance and a distinct fusion of classic and contemporary aesthetics, the studio’s work showcases Kewalram’s trademark ever evolving style, characterized by clean lines, neutral tones, dramatic contrasts and meticulous attention to texture and detail.
Having changed the face of the design industry with her classic met contemporary style, multi-award winning designer Anu Kewalram is one of the most influential designers of her time.
Born & brought up in Singapore, Anu’s design style is defined by a subtle fusion of symmetrical lines, neutral tones and intuitively balanced with an opulent warmth that is brought in with textures and soft curves that take a sudden shift from the expected.
The result is almost eclectic and yet so elegant that it’s hard not to feel the sophisticated and delicate touches around a modern design. She has been honoured with numerous prestigious awards and accolades including the International Property Award for the Middle East Region for her Mirdif Residential Project.
Passionate about making her design ethos accessible to the masses, Anu has often contributed to features on publications such as The Architectural Digest and Good Homes.
She is passionate about mentoring and helping inspiring designers to follow their dreams, setting her own example of someone who started her career in her early 50s. Anu has promoted several known brands in the industry which include furniture, marble, home appliances and accessories and other products related to the design industry.
